Excellent curry lamb Khori Gosht. Very homely fireplace. Extremely friendly staff. My best Indian cuisine in the UK.

It's always lovely to go down to The Hatch Gate, the staff there are very welcoming and friendly - you get a sense of community from the atmosphere. They have regular live music playing which is a treat to watch. The Hatch Gate has is the best curry house in Burghfield and surrounding area. It's worth traveling to if you're not a local, you won't be disappointed.

Thoroughly recommend the Hatch Gate for a party. We had 100 guests for our anniversary party and Buddy made the whole experience extremely easy and seamless.. Staff were attentive and friendly and the Indian buffet was lovely— so many great comments from our guests… Whatever you want, Buddy says no problem and makes it happen.. we told him with a days notice that our son’s band wanted to play a set— no problem we do that all the time.. Pub was still open for other guests and regulars but that was no problem, they were extremely friendly and respectful. Extremely fair price for the quantity of service.. Thanks Buddy and team for a really great evening.. 😊😊😊😊

Nice place. Am not a fan of smelling food when I visit a pub but it appears this is really a very good restaurant with a bar so.....😏 Parking: Cars park in it.

Attended a party here. Food was pre ordered, was very nice. Didn't see full menu. £3.50 for a pint of draft diet coke, a bit steep. Facilities were clean and well maintained.

In my whole 33 years of trying new foods and restaurants myself and family have never been treated so poorly and made to feel VERY uncomfortable. The top boss not only treats his customers so vile but also his staff. If you still want you're sanity then I suggest women and children stay away from this place that's all I have to say.

I can only say worse buffet I've ever experienced in 30 plus years of having them the poppadoms smelt disgusting the mango sauce was watered down the mint sauce watered down overall disgusting then when we went up to the counter to start taking from the buffet only to find most of the buffet was missing when we asked him to replace the items what was missing he then told us they don't replace any of it from 19:30 then why didn't he tell us that in the first place before we decided to have a buffet but then it got worse because the items what was there was all dried up and disgusting where they had been in the trays to long I can never understand why they do these buffets on a Sunday only to serve up total rubbish my advice to them is stop serving buffets and just stick to a menu and hopefully they get that right. I don’t know why you keep removing comments on Facebook let people say what they want that’s the hole point of reviews

Had the Sunday buffet, so I can't comment on the normal menu. It was OK food a little bland but a decent price. Service was good. The only real down is it's a bit dark and dingy in there, with not much space. It's still worth a visit if you are in the area. Wheelchair accessibility: Honestly, I think you would struggle. There is not a lot of room, and the old style entrance door is not particularly wide.
